Established in 2002, Pasion Argentina designs and manufactures premium quality bags, decorative objects, home accessories, furniture and giftwares. Working with the highest quality Argentinean leather, suede and wood, Pasion Argentina stays true to its cultural origins by integrating native textiles, thereby creating unique and exquisite products. Pasion Argentina is the first Argentinean design company based on the principles of Fair Trade, a commitment to sound environmental practices and social responsibility. The local leathers the company works with are creatively enhanced by native weavings. Indigenous artisans use skills and design that date back to ancient times, with each weaving taking an average of 15 days to produce. Pasion Argentina works closely with with local artisans to preserve their heritage, as well as their way of life, and is currently working with the communities of Wichi (Chaco and Formosa) and Diaguita Calchaqui (Catamarca, Tucuman and Salta).
